Event: Global Happiness Festival & Forum 2026
Dates: 10–11 October 2026 | Venue: Birla Auditorium, Jaipur
By registering, purchasing a pass or entering the Festival premises, you agree to these Terms & Conditions in full.
Registration & Entry
- Entry to the Festival is subject to valid registration, ticket, invitation, pass, or other authorised access issued or confirmed by the organiser.
- Attendees may be required to present their ticket, registration confirmation, identification or other verification at the entry point.
- The organiser reserves the right to verify registration and eligibility and to deny entry where registration details are invalid, fraudulent, incomplete, unverifiable, or where an attendee does not comply with the Festival's Terms & Conditions, rules or safety requirements.
- Registration or submission of a request does not automatically guarantee approval or entry.
Access Categories, Passes & Eligibility
- Access to the Festival is based on the type of pass or registration held by the attendee.
- Basic Access: Provides limited entry to designated Festival areas and zones as specified at the time of registration.
- Full Day Pass: Where offered, provides access to designated Festival activities, areas and zones for the applicable day, subject to capacity restrictions, pre-registration requirements and individual activity conditions.
- Student, Discounted & Free Access Passes: These categories are subject to registration, eligibility verification and confirmation by the organiser. Applicants may be required to provide valid supporting documents or information.
- The organiser reserves the right to approve, reject, cancel or revoke such access where eligibility criteria are not met, information is inaccurate or unverifiable, the pass is misused, or the attendee fails to comply with applicable Festival rules.
- Possession of a pass or registration confirmation does not override the organiser's right to verify eligibility or manage access.
Tickets, Passes, Wristbands & Transfers
- Tickets, passes, wristbands and access credentials are issued for the individual to whom they are assigned and may not be duplicated, altered, misused or transferred unless expressly permitted by the organiser.
- Attendees are responsible for keeping their tickets, passes and wristbands safe.
- Loss, damage, duplication or unauthorised use may result in denial of access.
- Unless specifically stated otherwise, Festival tickets, passes and paid add-ons are non-refundable and non-transferable, subject to applicable law.
Free Activities & Pre-Registration
- Free activities and experiences may have limited capacity and may require advance pre-registration.
- Registration for the Festival or possession of a Festival pass does not automatically guarantee participation in every free activity.
- Where pre-registration is required, participation will be subject to successful registration, available capacity and generally on a first-come, first-served basis.
- The organiser may establish separate eligibility, age, timing or participation requirements for individual activities.
Paid Workshops, Sessions & Add-Ons
- Paid workshops, masterclasses, special sessions and experiences will be separately listed with their applicable date, time, duration, facilitator/artist, inclusions, requirements and other relevant details.
- The listing will explicitly state what is included in the registration. This may include, where applicable:
- Equipment or equipment rental
- Materials or supplies
- Facilitation by a particular artist, expert or facilitator
- Special resources or experiences
- Any other specifically stated inclusion
- Only items and services explicitly mentioned in the respective workshop or session listing shall be considered included.
- Any equipment, material, product, service, personal consumable, additional experience or facility not specifically mentioned shall be deemed not included.
- Unless expressly stated otherwise, registration for a paid workshop or session provides access only to the registered workshop/session for the specified date and time.
- Paid add-on slots are limited and generally allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. A booking is confirmed only after successful payment and confirmation by the organiser.
- A Festival pass does not automatically reserve a place in any paid add-on.
Voluntary Participation & Personal Responsibility
- Participation in any Festival activity, whether free or paid, including workshops, performances, movement sessions, fitness activities, wellness practices, healing sessions, games, challenges or other experiences, is entirely voluntary and at the participant's own choice, discretion and responsibility.
- Participants should assess their own suitability, comfort level, fitness and ability before participating.
- Participants may choose not to participate or may discontinue participation at any time.
- By voluntarily participating, attendees acknowledge that certain experiences may involve physical activity, movement, interaction with other participants, equipment, environmental conditions or other inherent risks.
- The organiser does not compel or require participation in any particular experience and shall not be responsible for risks inherent to an activity arising from a participant's voluntary decision to participate, except to the extent responsibility cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under applicable law.
Health & Medical Responsibility
- Each participant is responsible for considering their own health, physical condition and personal circumstances before participating in any Festival activity.
- Where an activity involves physical exertion, breathwork, movement, heat/cold exposure, fitness, wellness practices or other potentially demanding experiences, participants should participate only if they consider themselves fit and suitable to do so.
- Participants should seek appropriate medical or professional advice where necessary.
- Participants must immediately inform the relevant facilitator or Festival team if they feel unwell, unsafe, uncomfortable or unable to continue.
- Participation in Festival activities does not constitute medical, therapeutic, fitness, psychological, nutritional or other professional advice.
Safety Instructions & Facilitator Guidelines
- All attendees must follow reasonable safety instructions provided by the organiser, venue, security personnel, facilitators, activity providers and Festival staff.
- Participants must follow the instructions and guidelines of the relevant facilitator or activity provider during any session.
- The organiser may restrict or discontinue participation where a participant is behaving unsafely, disregarding instructions, or creating a risk to themselves or others.
Code of Conduct & Discipline
- GHF is intended to be a safe, inclusive, respectful and welcoming environment.
- Attendees must maintain appropriate discipline and respectful conduct throughout the Festival.
- Attendees are expected to respect facilitators, artists, speakers, volunteers, organisers, venue personnel, vendors and fellow participants.
- Harassment, intimidation, discrimination, abusive behaviour, threats, violence, deliberate disruption, inappropriate conduct or behaviour that compromises the safety or dignity of others will not be tolerated.
- Misconduct may result in removal from an activity or the Festival premises without refund, subject to applicable law.
Children & Minors
- Children and minors must be accompanied and supervised by a responsible parent, guardian or authorised adult wherever required.
- Parents or guardians remain responsible for the safety, conduct and participation of minors accompanying them.
- Certain Festival activities may have age, height, health or other eligibility requirements.
- The organiser may restrict participation in activities where the required criteria are not met.
Prohibited Items & Security
- Attendees may be subject to security screening at entry.
- Weapons, dangerous objects, illegal substances, hazardous materials and any other items prohibited by the venue or organiser will not be permitted.
- The organiser may refuse entry or remove any person found carrying prohibited items, subject to applicable law.
Personal Belongings & Lost Property
- Attendees are responsible for the safety and security of their personal belongings throughout the Festival.
- The organiser and venue shall not be responsible for loss, theft, damage or misplacement of personal belongings, except to the extent required by applicable law.
- Any lost property handed over to the Festival team will be managed through the designated lost-and-found process.
Equipment & Rented Items
- Where equipment is provided, rented or made available for temporary use during an activity, the participant is responsible for using it responsibly and returning it in the condition in which it was provided.
- Any loss, breakage or damage caused due to the participant's misuse, negligence or failure to return the equipment may be chargeable to the participant.
- Any applicable equipment charges or security deposits will be communicated separately.
Photography, Videography, Recording & Media
- The Festival and its sessions may be photographed, filmed, recorded and livestreamed for documentation, content creation, promotional, marketing, media, educational, digital and archival purposes.
- By entering the Festival premises, attendees acknowledge and agree that they may appear incidentally or otherwise in photographs, videos, recordings or livestreams captured during the Festival.
- All Festival sessions and experiences may be documented by photographers and videographers engaged by the organisers, and the resulting content may be used by the organisers and their authorised partners for Festival-related communication, content creation, marketing, promotion and management.
- If an attendee finds their appearance in any such content inappropriate and wishes to request removal, they may approach the organising team. The organising team will consider such requests reasonably.
Marketplace, Vendors & F&B
- The Festival may include independent brands, vendors, exhibitors, food and beverage providers, practitioners and service providers.
- Products and services offered by third-party vendors are provided by those respective vendors.
- Any purchase, booking, transaction, product use or service engagement with a third-party vendor is between the attendee and that vendor.
- The organiser does not independently guarantee the quality, suitability, availability or performance of third-party products or services, except where required by applicable law.
Comprehensive Refund, Cancellation & Tiered Modification Policy
At the Global Happiness Festival & Forum 2026 (GHF), we understand that plans may change.
However, as our festival involves extensive advance planning, venue commitments, capacity limits, and bookings with global facilitators, our policies are designed to be transparent and fair.
16.1 General Non-Refundable Policy
- Unless expressly required by applicable Indian law, all Festival tickets, full-day passes, basic access passes, student/discounted passes, and registration fees are strictly non-refundable and non-transferable once purchased or confirmed.
- No-Shows & Partial Attendance: Failure to attend the Festival, arriving late, leaving early, or failing to attend a specific registered activity, free session, or paid add-on does not entitle the participant to a refund, partial refund, replacement slot, or compensatory credit.
16.2 Paid Workshops, Masterclasses & Add-Ons
- Paid add-on experiences (e.g., intensive breathwork, specialized movement masterclasses, or exclusive wellness sessions) have strict capacity limits.
- Attendee Cancellation: If an attendee cancels their participation in a paid add-on, the fee is entirely non-refundable.
- Facilitator Changes/Cancellations: GHF reserves the right to substitute facilitators, speakers, or instructors due to illness or unforeseen circumstances. A change in the instructor does not entitle the participant to a refund if the session proceeds.
- Session Cancellation by Organiser: If GHF entirely cancels a paid add-on workshop (and no alternative or rescheduled slot is provided), attendees who purchased that specific add-on will be eligible for a full refund of the add-on fee (excluding any third-party booking or payment gateway charges).
16.3 Ticket Transfers & Name Changes
- While tickets are generally non-transferable, GHF may, strictly at its sole discretion, allow a one-time transfer of a Full Day Pass to another individual.
- Requests for transfers must be submitted in writing to the organising team at least 15 days before the Festival begins.
- Approved transfers may be subject to a nominal administrative processing fee.
- Paid add-on workshops and masterclass reservations cannot be transferred independently of the main access pass.
16.4 Medical Emergencies
- In the event of a severe, documented medical emergency that prevents attendance, attendees may submit a written request for consideration.
- Requests must be accompanied by verifiable medical documentation (e.g., a hospital certificate from a registered medical practitioner).
- Such requests will be reviewed by the GHF management team on a case-by-case basis. Approval is not guaranteed. If approved, GHF may offer a partial refund (deducting administrative and payment gateway costs) or a credit note for future events.
16.5 Force Majeure & Event Modifications
- GHF will not be liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations where such failure results from circumstances beyond our reasonable control (Force Majeure). This includes, but is not limited to, natural disasters, severe weather conditions affecting the Birla Auditorium, public health crises/pandemics, government mandates, strikes, or civil unrest.
- Postponement: If the Festival is postponed due to Force Majeure, all valid tickets and registrations will automatically be transferred to the rescheduled dates. No refunds will be issued for postponed events.
- Complete Cancellation: If the Festival is cancelled entirely without a rescheduled date, GHF will communicate the available resolution to ticket holders, which may include partial refunds, subject to the deduction of non-recoverable operational costs already incurred by the organiser.
- Travel & Accommodation: Under no circumstances will GHF be responsible or liable for any personal travel, accommodation, or ancillary expenses incurred by the attendee, regardless of whether the event is cancelled, postponed, or modified.
16.6 Third-Party Vendors & Marketplace
- Any purchases made during the Festival regarding F&B, wellness products, healing sessions, or equipment from independent third-party vendors in the Conscious Marketplace are strictly between the attendee and the vendor.
- GHF is not responsible for issuing refunds, returns, or dispute resolutions for third-party transactions.
16.7 Refund Processing Timelines
Where a refund is explicitly approved by GHF management in writing:
- Refunds will be processed to the original mode of payment.
- Please allow 15 to 30 working days for the funds to reflect in your account, depending on banking institutions.
- Approved refunds will be subject to the deduction of mandatory payment gateway transaction fees, banking processing charges, and applicable taxes.
Festival Programme & Facilitator Changes
- The Festival programme, schedules, speakers, artists, facilitators, activities, timings, venue arrangements and experiences are subject to change.
- The organiser reserves the right to modify, replace, reschedule, postpone or cancel any programme element where reasonably necessary due to operational, safety, technical, weather, artist/facilitator, venue, regulatory or other circumstances.
- Participation in the Festival or possession of a pass does not guarantee access to any particular speaker, artist, activity, session or experience unless specifically confirmed.
Emergency Situations & Medical Assistance
- In the event of an emergency, the organiser, venue, security team or authorised personnel may take reasonable steps to protect the safety of attendees.
- Where necessary, reasonable emergency assistance may be sought or arranged.
- Participants acknowledge that emergency response may involve unavoidable limitations and that the organiser cannot guarantee a particular medical outcome.
Liability & Assumption of Risk
- Attendees voluntarily enter and participate in the Festival and its experiences with an understanding that events involving crowds, movement, equipment, physical activity, weather, travel within the venue and interaction with others may carry inherent risks.
- To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the organiser shall not be liable for loss, injury, damage, inconvenience or other consequences arising from matters outside its reasonable control or from a participant's voluntary participation in an activity, except where such liability cannot legally be excluded or limited.
- Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to exclude liability that cannot legally be excluded.
Force Majeure & Unforeseen Circumstances
- The Festival may be affected by circumstances beyond the organiser's reasonable control, including natural events, extreme weather, government restrictions, public safety concerns, technical failures, venue issues, emergencies, strikes, transportation disruptions or other unforeseen circumstances.
- The organiser may modify, postpone, relocate, suspend or cancel the Festival or any part of it where reasonably necessary.
Intellectual Property, Personal Information & Acceptance
- The Festival name, branding, logos, creative assets, programme content, photographs, videos, designs, installations and other original Festival materials may be protected by intellectual property rights.
- Attendees may not commercially reproduce, distribute, exploit or use such material without appropriate authorisation. Personal photographs and recordings for private, non-commercial use may be permitted subject to Festival and venue guidelines.
- Information collected during registration, ticketing, participation or Festival interactions may be used for purposes connected with event administration, communication, safety, access management and other legitimate Festival-related purposes. Personal information will be handled in accordance with applicable law and the organiser's applicable privacy practices.
- By registering for, purchasing a ticket/pass, accepting an invitation, entering the Festival premises or participating in any Festival experience, the attendee acknowledges that they have had an opportunity to read and understand these Terms & Conditions and agree to comply with them.
- These Terms & Conditions are intended to apply uniformly across the Festival and its attendees. Additional terms may apply to specific activities, experiences, ticket categories or participation formats where communicated by the organiser.
- The organiser reserves the right to update or amend these Terms & Conditions where reasonably necessary. The latest applicable version communicated by the organiser will govern participation in the Festival.
- Governing Law: These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by the applicable laws of India, with the appropriate courts having jurisdiction over matters arising in connection with the Festival, subject to applicable law.
